Comments:
I tried a whole new way of coloring which was a lot of fun. I started out completely gray scale and using as little layers as possible. I also used a more painterly technique than I usually do and focused on creating textures within the picture using brush strokes. (Or should I say stylus strokes?) Then I overlayed a solid purple/blue-ish layer over the gray scale image and added another layer on multiply and colored on that.

Bonus:
I wasn't able to finish this picture but I still want to link to it. It's an unfinished sketch of Gen and Jared eating popcorn.
