[The device is pointing upwards towards the sky, out of which someone in a blue suit is falling.  The suit is honestly a bit scary looking, but the wings are rather pretty, like they belong to a large blue dragonfly.]

Aughhhhh!

[The figure comes to a hover above the device.  Its eyes are glowing orange.]

What happened?  Where are we?

Ok, I was going to find a way to make that sound less weird, but there really isn't one.

Is it a symbiote, or is it just a time share?

I can almost hear it. Which I don't mean to pry, and I'm not, well, not really, but I'm a telepath and he's kinda interesting.

A symbiote I guess. I mean, it's a piece of alien technology that's attached itself to my spine, but it has its own intelligence and free will and is my friend now.

Um, I really suggest you don't listing too closely. The Scarab is very alien. Someone I know tried to get into its mind and, well, I really hurt her and I didn't mean to.

Well, alien minds aren't...alien to me. I mean, I've been inside some pretty strange heads.

But I'll respect that. Last think I need in my head turned inside out again.

So. You're obviously into the superhero gig, huh?

Yup. Its been...about eight months so far. A very, very busy eight months. Well, unless you count the year I disappeared for, but I don't. I didn't mean to become a superhero, though, it just sort of happened.
