helllllooooooooo!
hello friends. i am back from playa del carmen, and it was beautiful. we got back saturday, and i felt like crap for about 4 days. throbbing headache, weird stomach, fever like symptoms. i'm also completely better though. but anyway! i really really really liked it there. i'll post some pictures later. the water was so blue and clear. the sun was always out. i got a dark tan, and i'm even peeling in some places. sexy! the resort was very pretty. it had a very convenient layout, and it was no more than a minute long walk from my room to everyone else's rooms. you would see stray iguanas strolling about. we even fed two of them a banana. little known fact: iguanas do not like mango. interesting huh? i took pictures with JR and a little monkey. i also took pictures with a huge iguana. we went shopping and bargained for stuff. that's always exhilarating. pretty much everyone was sick for at least one day. the sun was extreme. but it was beautiful. that's really the only way to describe it. the coolest thing was when we were shopping because we walked to the end of the street, and all of a sudden we were at the blue blue beach. it was crazy. and the mangoes!!! i've never had anything like those mangoes. they sell 'em to you peeled and in a cup. they melted in your mouth, they weren't stringy. they were the epitome of mango glory. i loved it.
in other news, we were supposed to go to a really awesome concert on wednesday. nas, wu tang, cypress hill, ugk, immortal technique, erykah badu, among many others. but we drove there and it was cancelled. we're just not meant to go to a rap concert i guess.
