Well, its been a hectic week!
Me and Kev went to York on Saturday for the day. We had a fun day drinking and that was about all really! Although we were pretty drunk by train home o'clock, however we did continue the drinking in Sunderland afterwards. Was poorly bad on Sunday and continued to be poorly bad on Monday so didn't go into work.
Yesterday it was my birthday! But no fun and relaxing time for me, oh no. I was up at 5.30am, on the metro at 6.23, on a train to London at 7.20 where I had to go for a meeting at our Head Office. I thoroughly enjoyed the meeting like. All about pensions reform in 2012 blah blah blah, I don't want to bore you with details! Although we got out of meeting at 3, our train home wasn't booked until 5 so me and Janet went for a pint then went to get train wine (for me, she was driving from Newcastle and it was my birthday after all!). Didn't end up getting home until after 9 though as the train got stuck for ages at Doncaster due to someone nicking cables and that. So my birthday was a write off after being out the house for over 15 hours for work! I came home to find Kev had made my tea and poured me a glass of wine (which I didn't want after train wine and am at work today) and he had got methe bag that I wanted which is just bloody awesome!
Today as I said, I'm back at work however going out tonight for 2 for 1 food and wine at Revolution, then out in Sunderland with Friday off! Huzzah!
Also going out all day sesh on Saturday at the Maltings in Shields for good beer and fires, then for all you can eat curry, then Sunderland again.
Should be a good weekend!
