Well, I finally finished this part up! I only had to work on it for three months...

Brendan and Lucian's date, in which Brendan has some issues, but the author tosses in some lime anyway just for the heck of it. )

I love you forever ^_^

Thank you!! That was perfectly sweet and sexy and wonderful, and it had me giggling and squealing throughout the entire thing. These snippets are fantastic, and so worth the wait. Ahhhh Lucian/Bren=OTP!!

I love Lucian and Bren so so so so so much. This was just amazing and definately worth the wait.

...Is there any amount of begging that could get you to turn this into a full story (leading up to Lucian's accident)? Even if it was updated once a year I wouldn't care.

You're not the first person to ask, but alas, the answer is pretty much no, for a couple reasons.

1) Honestly, I don't think I could do it justice. It would be such a heart-wrenching story. Also, delving that deeply into Lucian's deterioration would be incredibly difficult to write.

2) The amount of time spanned in the story would make it very awkward. That would be about 7 or 8 years of time, so without skipping around, it would be impossible, but if I skipped a lot, it would write kind of strange.

3) Emotionally speaking, I don't think *I'm* emotionally capable of writing it. It would be very difficult for me, because I like things to turn out okay for my characters, and even knowing what happens in WYWM, I wouldn't enjoy writing it... and if I don't, then it won't turn out very well.

So that's the short answer. It's possible I may change my mind someday, but bribery probably wouldn't do it. ^_~

because I like things to turn out okay for my characters

Y'know, that's an okay thing to like. ^_^ For the sake of drama, I think you could probably write the story to end with a happy ending. Like, the epilogue AFTER When You Were Mine, but I like getting the little snippets. Rather like Swordspoint. There was the book, and then several little stories. It's cute (I was going to say quaint, and then decided I'd probably get bricked).

And I respect your character-love for another reason, too: I enjoy torturing my characters, much as you seem to, but I like to give a few unhappy endings. Simply because I think that not everyone gets a happy ending. Whoops.

This theory is probaby the biggest reason that I love you guys' writing (and yours alone, as well). Kudos and stuff! ^_^

Well, I'm not a fan of tragic endings (obviously), but I *have* written stories where not everything turned out all right, like And From the Ashes... sometimes happy endings just don't *fit* into a story's mood. ::shrug:: But yeah, I can't imagine trying to write a story that ends as depressingly as Lucian and Bren's backstory does, heh.

God love 'em. It's so strange to think that something this delectable turns into an abusive relationship. It's an issue I deal with in my writing, but I'm lazy and put in references at early stages.

My fetish for gay teenagers is becoming a problem. If you put Bren in eyeliner, I will worship you forever.

I love you and your blatantly gratuitous fanservice. Hah.

But really, it's amazingly shibby to get to know what went on in their relationship before the story. It makes me like Lucian a lot more than I used to.
