I forgot how much younger Asher is. 2 years of high school without Galen, sad.

Well, they're actually only one year apart in age during Shadows - Asher is 16 and Galen is 17 - but because of where their birthdays fall (Galen is a summer baby, Asher is winter), they're two years apart in school. /random technicality aside
