Notes: Even though I haven’t written this pairing in a long time, I still love it. But, uh, I haven’t written it in a long time. Please keep that in mind. And I’m sorry that this one is kind of short, but it was perfect at the length it wound up being. (Also please forgive the, uhm, Mortal Kombat reference? Or at least I think that's what it is.)
“It isn’t fair,” Omi said.
Nagi simply blinked at him. “Why not?” he asked.
“Because common sense,” Omi said. “There’s no way that you using your psychic powers in a video game match is fair. I don’t have psychic powers. Besides, using your telekinesis, you can hit the buttons a lot faster than I can.”
“That’s not my fault,” Nagi said.
“It’s cheating.”
“Using a natural skill is not cheating,” Nagi said. “Don’t be a sore loser.”
“I’m not,” Omi said, edging towards a glare. “And that is totally not the point! It’s not a natural skill. It’s a very unnatural skill, thank you very much. How would you feel if, if you were playing the game with Schuldig and he used his telepathy to mess up your perceptions?”
Nagi blinked again. “On what planet would I be stupid enough to play video games with Schuldig?”
Omi scowled. “That’s not the point. It’s the principle of the matter.”
“If I beat you without using my telekinesis to hit the buttons, will you be quiet about it?”
“Oh, you’re on.”
They reset the game.
“He - hey!” Omi protested, thirty seconds into the game. “Using your telekinesis to poke me in the ribs is not any more fair than - hey, stop!” He started laughing. “That tickles, you jerk! Quit it!”
“You said if I didn’t use my telekinesis to hit the buttons - ”
“No fair, no fair!”
Nagi smirked as his character thoroughly beat Omi’s into the ground. “Flawless victory.”
