Wow, that was cute. I don't know how you guys take typos and grammar errors if your readers point them out to you since I have not noticed anyone pointing them out before. If you don't want readers pointing them out, I guess here is the time to let people know. (I know I like it when my readers point out my typos, it is so hard to edit your own work!)

Anyway, first grammar point is "young man sitting at the table with a dachshund on the table in front of him"- the table part sounds a bit redundant. Maybe take out "on the table"?

Second is just a typo. “Kristy said you were really go with the injured animals.”- go should be good.

Generally speaking, I like it when people point out stuff like that. You're right, editing your own work is a bitch. Of course, when it's little ficlets like this that won't go in the eventual work, it's a little different, but thanks all the same. ^_^

seeing benjamin here, and in the rest of the story, i think i see an improvement in his sanity in the rest of the story--and he's just soooo cute! poor, confused little Ian! ^_^;
