Flipping through the LJ's of my friends makes me feel a little behind on things...like actually telling people what I'm up to.
TO be honest, there's not much to my life at present...taxes came and went, I still have my driver's license contrary to police belief, and I still work in the ER.
World of Warcraft has blessed me with a large base of people to help me with my new role in life there. I went from back lines to front lines, and apparently I'm a natural. Call it me willing to die for others at its best. Hey, tanking's actually pretty fun all in all.
Work is good, I'm shooting for my Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN) certification this year, and I still enjoy what I do. There's not much more I can ask. No great stories to tell, but no bad ones either. To me that counts as a win.
I still juggle back and forth between home and Richmond. The last month or so has had me neglecting Richmond more than I'd like due to the possiblity of a great Aunt moving in, but they're patient and supportive as always. There seems to be a little pool of peace there right now, I don't encounter much animosity or group anxiety in our recent get togethers which is nice. We just sit back, have fun, and say to do it again afterwards.
I finally picked up all of Nextwave and still read it when I need a laugh. I picked up softcover of Planetary 3, and managed to get ahold of Global Frequency, these all make me happy. With my tax refund, I picked up my PS3 finally, even though there's no game I want to play on it as of yet. This makes my 4th console that I've bought and not played due to no game I wanted at launch.
For those who don't believe, here's the breakdown.
Gamecube I held off 2 weeks for Smash Bros. Melee
X-Box 360 I held off for a couple of months for Oblivion.
Wii I held off for due to no extra controllers for multiplayer and not able to get my copy of Twilight Princess on launch...:(
And now the PS3, just waiting on anything other than a shooter.
And no, I won't play a PS2 game on it as a christening...that's just plain idiotic.
I finished the first complete set of World of Warcraft cards, and am starting on the second set when they decide to fully release them. My compilations of Naruto, Trigun, and Get Backers continue as they release...
Leisure, if you haven't kept up with Trigun, it should come as no surprise to learn that Wolfwood still gets the axe. What can I say?
That's all for me, I'm tapped. Check y'all later.
