In other news...
Still working on Grandma's Birthday Sox...almost done. I'm on the cuff of the second sock so I'm definitely in the home stretch. Want to see?
No work on the Loll lately, since I've been focusing on the socks, but I hope to get back to it soon.
Jeff and I cleaned up the whole apartment yesterday, even the closets. It feels good to have everything organized again. I had to get the closet in the computer room cleaned out because I needed to make room for the wheel to be stored in there so we ended up just going ahead and cleaning everything else as well.
Also yesterday, we drove down to San Mateo and stopped at Shane Company and picked out a replacement ring for the engagement ring I damaged (by losing the diamond!) last year. We ended up picking out a really nice white gold set with smaller round diamonds set in both the engagement ring and the wedding band and then picked out a diamond to be set into the engagement ring. We get it back from them on Wednesday and I can hardly wait to see it with the main stone set into it! I think Jeff felt really good about being able to get a "proper" ring. I adored the ring he gave me the first time, but he admitted yesterday that it was a really cheap ring and that he had wanted to get a better one for a long time. I would try to get a photo off the Shane Co. website, but I can't get one that looks quite like it.
