Honestly though, I just didn't have any time for it.
Wednesday was the Giants game, Thursday was softball with my work league, Friday was softball again but with my city league team, Saturday was softball in the AM with the UC league and the afternoon was for cleaning up and then going to see
Grindhouse. So lots of softball and one awesome movie and then I'm left with a ton of household stuff to do and only one day left for the week.
So Sunday was spent cleaning up the apartment, doing laundry and grocery shopping. Jeff was kind enough to brave Trader Joe's on a Sunday with me (a feat not for the faint of heart) and then the grocery store too. We got all kinds of fresh healthy stuff...you know, like vegetables and stuff. It makes me feel good to have all that in the house and even though Jeff ended up getting some cookies as well, the good food out weighs the bad in the house now which is good. Did I mention we got a scale too?
My first scale in years and years. Now I remember why I didn't want one in the first place. We got one that shows you your BMI as well, although I think BMI for athletic males must be off because it says that Jeff is slightly overweight and that couldn't be further from the truth. But then again it says I am in the "normal" range and I think that's off too, of course, I could just have a warped body image which is probably the case.
Not much crafty stuff went on this weekend either, but I did wash the fabric I want to use on my next dress so I'm hoping I can start on that sometime soon as well.
After this weekend, realizing that it was the third or so weekend in a row that we did "shopping" of some sort (we went to Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond), Jeff and I decided that we're going to try and avoid any exraneous shopping for the month of May. No new clothes, no new apartment stuff (unless it's something we're out of, like soap), no new stuff in general. I had better get all my shopping in now!
