heartache and heart break

Somebody I love very much in my extended family is seriously and probably terminally ill, out of the blue. This is completely unexpected and far before their time. Cancer is awful. Today is all we have. Hold your loved ones tight, tell your family and your friends and partners that you love them each and every day.
Someone said to me this week: "Sometimes the "best possible outcome" in the eyes of what is Eternal is something that brings a crippling sorrow to us living on this plane."
The sun is shining here today but my heart is aching.
