Well, Where to begin? After 48 hours worth of traveling, our large group of 27 made it to our respective B&B's in Stratford-upon-Avon. I stayed in the Bradbourne house with Ian Gregory who was the Inn Keeper. He played ABBA every morning and made us full English breakfasts, so it was really good. Shared a room with this girl Beth, who had just graduated, but was going on the trip anyway. Stratford was goregous. All of the flowers were in bloom all week we were there, it only rained once, and not very long. We saw Shakespeare's birth place and Anne Hathaway's cottage and his grave, but not all at once. The food was pretty good, the pubs were fantastic, and so was the night club I went to where I met Nathan.
Nathan is amazing! We caught each other staring from across the room and he came over to chat. But it wasn't the usual chit chat at clubs (AKA, nice shoes, wanna fuck?), it was a bit more intellectual/personal. He does web perscriptions for people in England and designs websites for Health care companies... So he has his own buisness, big plus. He was also extremely complimentry of me, and he has an uncle in Boston. He was very sweet and very cute, dark hair, Hazel eyes, handsome face, I was head over heels.
So we went out again the last night I was there, and we hung out some more. And by some more I mean until 3:30 AM, but it wasn't anything too serious, just some mind blowing kisses. We promised to keep in touch, and so far I've heard from him twice! So YAY!
The plays I say in Stratford were Amazing! Dog in the Manger Rocked, as well as Tamar's Revenge. I didn't like Macbeth as much and I LOATHED Romeo and Juliet. Much Ado about nothing was at the globe, and it was AMAZING with an all female cast. Way to go ladies, you pulled it off well.
Paris was then Spectacular, with a completely different feel to England. I felt like everyone was very thoughtful there, proud to be French for many reasons, but completely capable of sitting at some street corner cafe all day, drinking Cafe Oles and talking about Marxism. I loved it. Everyone has a great appreciation for the arts as long as it is well done. I studied with a Street theatre troop, and they were unbelievable. They have such energy and dedication, it was really great to see. I walked on stilts, did trapieze, did interpretive movement, ate great food, went out for Melissa's birthday. It was great. I love Paris.
Overall, an amazing trip, I had a blast.
