Sizing Question
I've been busy relearning how to knit recently, and have been having a gleeful time looking at patterns. I recently finished my first-ever project using a pattern and I'm ready to tackle one of the projects I've tabbed in a book. The problem is, it's a cap for an infant but I'd like to make it for myself. I play in the SCA and it would be perfect for a period headcovering. But I don't know how to resize patterns. I don't want to simply change gauge because I like the tight small pattern. Can someone either educate me on how to resize a pattern to make the finished product larger, or send me a link with a tutorial?
