Every yarn has its place and its project. When my child is playing on the floor I want something I can wash.

Plus now that the mass market brands are making sock yarns... don't count out an entire brand of yarn because you (the general you) dislike a specific type. It would be like me never buying a pair of pants from Old Navy just because one pair didn't fit me.

Which is great, because sock and lace yarn is expensive as hell.

I totally agree with this. (And I dig my Boyes needles. Never had an issue with them)

I'm thinking of Inf. 34.10-15 where they're described as "a straw in glass," I think. It's been 6 years since I finished that degree.

Yep, you have officially lost your knitters card, please be sure to turn in your key and t-shirt at the front desk.

I knit devil stuff too apparently. It's okay. (I use Wool-ease for all my charity hats and mittens. Washability is key here)

I love wool ease. I just knit a baby sweater with it and I'm planning a whole blanket with it! oh well, I guess everything has its ups and downs.

I get it around half off every time. There is no paying full price! And I give only what I would wear myself. Most of what I knit stays in Wyoming, which is why I won't give full acrylic.
