Hey there,
I'm trying to chart out opera length gloves with flames running up them (for preforming uses). So far I have the yarn, the solid glove patter and some idea on how the flames should look (I dream this so I'm trying to stay true to the dream image). The hand (distal third) of the glove will be mostly black with one flame continuing up the the thumb. The forearm (medial third) will be the flames tapering off.
The last section I would love some advise. This section will be mostly solid flame color, but I want some wisps of flame-y-ness leading up the the forearm section.
Ok so I'm debating between
-black outlines of flames with cabling
-out lines of solid black flames
-solid black sections of the space between the flames
or
-stop thinking about it and make this section solid (I'd rather not tho...)
I'm trying them all out with swatching, but would love some advise on which people think will work best.
Thank you for pulling up with my obsessive nit-picking of what flames should look like
