FO: Faux Russian Stole

Pattern: Faux Russian Stole by Katie Nagorney and Ann Swanson, from A Gathering of Lace
Size: I only measured that it was 17" across before blocking; it came to the reccomended 24" x 72" after blocking.
Yarn: Lane Borgosesia (by Zegna Baruffa) "Hilton Tweed," the color a sky-blue tweed. Yet again, I think my yard-sale-augmented stash hit me with a ( Read more... )

Oh, you couldn't keep me away from the thing! It already had looked pretty good before blocking (garter stitch background on the pattern, so no curling), but the blocking helped so much. It's very warm, and quickly becoming my favorite fall accessory.

Thank you! Oddly enough, I agree with the jacket choice, I've been wearing that shawl with the stole a lot.

I wish I hadn't been wearing two different washed of denim when we took the pictures, but that's beside the point ^_^

that is beautiful great job.

and i love audio books. i used to work doing photo correction, and we would listen to audio books instead of music.
