I know that Showers of Flowers Yarn shop in Lakewood, CO has Butterfly 10 yarn. You can order it online here:

Thanks, I'll give that top link a go. Having been stung on my last order I'm having an irrational "I don't want to trust an unknown website" wibble. Whilst I realise it's irrational, I'm still having it :)

If you have an AC Moore near you, you can get King Tut mercerized cotton, and you should be able to get gauge with it. It's also available on eBay and online.

I do have a local AC Moore, but they didn't seem to have any in stock (unless I was having a total failure to see it!) I'll keep my eyes open though. Thanks for the suggestion :)
