That's a lovely colour. (And a gorgeous shawl - well done!)

One project on the needles at a time? I wish. Actually, I've literally had two different projects on the needles at the same time - I ran out of wool on the first one and needed the same size for a new project. I hadn't heard of stitch holders at that point!

Anyway, it's fun for visitors if they end up sitting on three different projects when they come round for coffee. (Though probably not those half-finished socks.)

Thanks :)

Hee, I can just imagine sitting on a WIP sock, DPNs all pokin' out everywhere. :)

Yup - that could be painful in so many ways!

...and non-knitters wonder why on Earth I would need three sets of interchangeables!

To OP...beautiful work! Kujaku is an interesting yarn, but why oh why must there be knots in relatively expensive yarn?? I found three in one skein and was about ready to throw it against the wall.

Yeah - I don't understand that either. I found two in a ball of Rowan Kid Silk Haze. Plus it's always tied short so you either end up with little bits poking out or you have to undo the knot and redo.

Meh.

cannot imagine tinking back and Russian joining KSH...OUCH!

Ye Gods no! Traditional way to join such stuff is a reef knot. The wool is so fuzzy you don't really notice the weaving in.

Russian joining is so much fun, but not with KSH...

Yep - I had to undo heaps of knots with tiny ends and retie them to sensible lengths I could weave in. Annoying stuff, but oh-so-beautiful :)

I'm looking forward to posting my Kid Silk Haze shawl (based on Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's snowdrop shawl) when I'm done. Only two balls to go!
