Thanks to everyone who commented on my post soliciting suggestions on how to get gauge with lace for Bridgewater.

I eventually figured out that if I switched from knitting continental to english/american I could get gauge (20 stitches over 4 inches close enough) on size 2 (3mm) needles.

Now I have to figure out if I want to knit this shawl. I can knit american (heck, its what I teach to my students) I just HATE it. Its so slow! And its harder on my hands. I may just suck it up and get 000 circ's and knit it continental anyway and just accept the gauge I get. =)

I'm putting this in the UFO pile for now. I need to think on what I'm going to do. And besides, I need to ball up some yarn first. Its still in skeins.
