I’m going to bore you with what’s going on here.
Move-in. It was kind of awkward. My roommate and I didn’t talk much. We met with our orientation groups and had this really awkward picnic thing buy this place called Indy lake. But it’s not a lake…It’s just grass. After the picnic roommate and I sat in our room and didn’t talk much. I periodically forgot that she was in here actually. I tried talking to her but she’s kind of shy. Then I had a floor meeting where they told us about the fact that our water heater is broken so I’ve been taking freezing cold showers. Then I went to bed.

Orientation day 1. We went to this meeting with our group about academic success and they like tried to freak us out about how college is going to be so hard and so on. Then we toured campus found where our classes are going to be and shit. Then my floor had a meeting about policies. The we went to this thing called the party. It was an acted out script about the dangers of drinking and sexual abuse and such. Then we went to Extravaganza which is this like skit thing where they make fun of stupid stuff around campus. Then I went to bed because I was tired. Oh, and during lunch I grabbed a dinner roll that had mold on it!!!! Sick.

Orientation day 2 so far. Met my advisor. He’s kind of super awkward. And he told us he wouldn’t help us decide what classes to take. We have to shop up for registration every semester and tell him what we want to sign up for. He won’t help at all. Plus he’s leaving before I graduate. I got my books today. I had to get 8 books for my history class! EIGHT!!!!!! It cost a shit ton. I’m definitely buying them off of Amazon for next semester. I got a package from my parents today. I left the power cord for my laptop at home like fucktard. My mom sent me banana bread however and lots of Doritos. I have an audtion for honor choir at 3:10. My roommate and I will eat supper and then go to the activites fair. After that we’re going to go crusing. I’ll show her around the area as I’m more familiar.

My dorm: Is filled with weird hippies. The people are seriously strange. This one girl insists on us calling her George. She’s a sophomore that wants to stay with freshman… gross. Hope everything is going well for you. Love always,

Olivia
