In yesterday's nail-biting adventure,
knittedpippin, after refusing to go to school (even though it was his birthday and I said he should) had unexpectedly received a Very Important email!
In case you have neglected to read the first part of this amazing adventure you had better do so NOW - It's
here …
As he hadn't been to school,
knittedpippin couldn't read it.
llinos is probably too stupid to work it out.
She even greedily starts her stupid name with 2 "ll"s! I mean, how does that work? And what a waste of lls!
marigoldg was off somewhere playing with her silly trains! So she was no help!
So
knittedpippin said he wanted to learn to read but he didn't know how to go to school and was it difficult?
I told him that's just the kind of thing you learn in school, so he should have gone.
Then I thought
knittedpippin was crying and I don't like that,
so I said you have to get books and pencils and other stuff and wear a uniform and then you just go.
knittedpippin put the uniform on then he got his suitcase out and began to pack it.
But I think he might have been planning to take a tad too much to school.
I told him he just needed a satchel with a pencil, a rubber (in case of mistakes!) An apple for the teacher (of course) and a book to read.
But
knittedpippin said he didn't have a book as he had given his only one to Errol (That Bloody Rabbit aka TBR)
because it was all about a rabbit just like him.
But I found a book that
grav_ity and
eldanna had kindly sent to stupid
llinos that was all about some other rabbit and
I gave him that instead.
It should be easier for
knittedpippin to read as it is all written in Welsh (like the one he gave TBR).
So
knittedpippin set off for school…
… reluctantly.
knittedpippin was so surprised when he got to school, because it turned out that the teacher was
knittedfrodo!
I didn't know that
knittedfrodo knew things.
knittedfrodo taught
knittedpippin lots of things about reading and how to be at school.
So when
knittedpippin came home again he was very happy!
And he could read!
And then he found that the email had come from his friend Errol (TBR) all the way from America
and that
grey_wonderer had even sent a nice photo of Errol (TBR) writing the email.
And here is what the Very Important writing said…
knittedpippin said it was the nicest birthday email po'm he had ever got ever! He even managed to look up some of the longer words, like "jell-o", "aftermath" and "hats"! And he was so pleased he could read it, he is going to go to school on his birthday again next year so that he can learn to write as well!
