I have a near-new first printing of Sweaters for Men looking for a new home: Dust jacket is in excellent condition, hard cover also excellent; sewn binding with tight pages, no marks, no dings, folds, tears or creases, book cover corners are sharp and unsquashed.
For purposes of valuing trades I checked
Alibris where this book is listed at between $48 and $90 USD.
Tasty offerings might include unspun Icelandic in a quantity sufficient for a sweater or a copy of Sharon Miller's "The Lerwick Shawl"; both are available from
Schoolhouse Press. I would be willing to negotiate for credit at SHP, at
Elann or at
WEBS.
I could be swayed by other things as well: high quality wool or silk laceweight yarns, especially J&S 2-ply laceweight in quantity; luxury spinning fibers (but NOT angora!!!); #6 clear foiled beads; Addi or rosewood circular needles; vintage Pyrex in a handful of patterns.
Things I will not consider: Knitpicks yarn/credit; cotton/blend yarns or sliver (I hate working with cotton); sock yarn; synthetics/blends (see cotton).
Non-smoking, cat-infested household. I'll use cheap shipping, will expect you to do the same :D
