Another bits-and-pieces update:
The King's Speech really is as good as the reviews say.
Is it evil of me that if the Bears do lose this playoff game, at least it will be a loss to the Packers? I was a Packer fan as a tiny girl in Milwaukee, long before anybody turned foam into cheeseheads.
Going to the grocery store on Sunday afternoon is indeed still a reallyREALLY bad idea. No matter how cold it is, go in the morning or go another day.
All the post-surgery pathology reports are back and everything is great with Sue; no further treatment recommended other than the continued follow-up tests. I am soSO grateful.
Good Earth Tea is lovely with honey and a dash of spiced rum. I don't much like Twining's Christmas tea, but Republic of Tea Comfort and Joy is v. nice.
Cold weather is a good reason to roast butternut squash, because why not use any excuse to heat up the oven?
