Why Yes, I have been Knitting

And thanks for asking.  Since my current project (a top down oversized cardigan for ME ME ME) was too big to bring to the convention last weekend, I decided to get some serious knit time in on the socks that have been living in my purse since October 2009.

How'd I do, you ask?

Yeah.  When I left Thursday night, I was at the heel gusset on the first sock.  I finished it on Friday night and immediately started the second.  The knitters I met at the con were really freaked out because every time they saw me, that second sock was closer to being done.  I finished the toe as the plane was taking off on Sunday, so all I had to do was graft and weave in the ends when I got home.

The pattern is my own Super Simple Sock Pattern and the yarn is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Renaissance Romance.  Perfect fall colors, no?

The Yankees sock yarn is next on the queue and is already cast on and in my purse.  Back to the sweater.  :)

BTW, for any Twitter users out there, you can now follow me at @TheKnitPrincess.  Yeah, I drank the Kool Aid.  Blame the creators of Reality Amuck, Hainted Holler and Sticky Comics.  They're totally pushers.
