So I've been in a bit of a knitting slump recently. Well, actually, that's not true. I've been on a sewing kick, and my knitting has suffered. I'll have pictures of finished sewn stuff soon, but for now, the one knitting project I have finished:
These are of my design, but I haven't come up with a name for them yet. I was thinking something water-y - Tsunami, Aquarius - but I'm open to suggestions.
They're knit with Louet Gems Fingering Weight in Caribbean Blue, from the toe up with short-row heels. The twisted knit stitches make them really stretchy. The stitch pattern is a modified version of something I found in one of Barbara Walker's Treasuries.
So here's the deal. You help me come up with a name, and whoever gives the winning suggestion gets a free copy of the pattern, which will, of course, be available once it has a name.
