I've been sick with every bug crossing the doorstep. A solid week out of the shop last week was tough to take. Well, it sucked being that sick. But honestly, that time by myself was somewhat rejuvenating emotionally. I'm just sad I had to have the freaking flu to get some down time.
In any case, now I just have to recover from pneumonia. The third annual yarn shop hop starts today, and I'm hoping for a busy few days. Hopefully I can manage them and recover my health. Delicate balance, right?
This picture is of the burning bush in our front yard. I am so grateful that the previous owners of our house (Matt's folks) did such a great job with the landscaping. I'm lousy at yard work and don't give it any of my time, but I do appreciate and admire some of the nice plants we've got.
This is a hat I made for Matt recently. The yarn was spun by a wonderful friend of mine.
