First up is my version of Wendy Bernard's
Le slouch. Knit over 64 sts rather than the reccommended 68 sts I am not sure if I like this hat or not. It just doesn't feel too slouchy, but it bags in weird places. Maybe a reblocking is in order? What do you think?
Secondly, here is a full length view of the
Sunday Market Shawl as requested :-) If you are knitting this, keep in mind that it will look quite short until you block the heck out of it, so never fear. It stretches.
And finally... I mean finally I am done my fulled bag!!! This took not time to knit, but was a kip for so long due to waiting to shrink it. I was doing this a kal with my friend Robin, but she put it down and never picked it up for ages, so eventually my willpower eroded and I ended up tossing it in the washer about a week ago. I love the end product, and now I just need to find the perfect lining...if it needs any at all. Hmmm...
On another note, today was the first weekly meetup of the
bitchybees friday group! I am so amazed with how well this group has really taken off! Now we have 2 weekly knit nites! Amazing! To think, I just wanted someone to knit with each week, and now there are probably more than 25 knitters who come to knit nites (mind you not who show up every week, that's more like 13 on tuesdays, or tonight 8)I just want to say thank you to every bee's member! It has, and continues to be so awesome to get to know you guys, and knit with you each week! I am really grateful that you decided to come out and join this little group & make it one of Victoria's bigger knitting groups, and the only young knitters group in town!!! You all rock!
& because it's cute... while posing for this photo shoot, I encountered a run-by-kissing! Those kiss-and-runners can be dangerous I tell ya! You never know when you'll get hit!
