James woke feeling like he was in hell. His head throbbed, nausea roiled in his gut and he felt bloody awful. Just what he needed, a case of flu while stuck in the bloody past.
Abby rested her hand on his forehead. “How do you feel?”
“Fucking terrible.” James winced, he hadn't meant to snap at Abby. It wasn't her fault.
“You're a coffee addict?” Abby grinned before catching James' scowl. “Sorry.”
Abby taking the piss was all he needed to add to his woes. It didn't help when she added, “It took Connor a week to get over it.”
