Lyle cursed again when the minister just stood there, as useful as ever, transfixed as the Tyrannosaurus Rex lumbered straight towards him. Not that the minister was Lyle’s primary concern, Lester was and he couldn’t see the Director anywhere.
“Bloody imbecile.”
Lyle didn’t jump, even if he swung around quickly enough to catch Lester’s amused smirk as the man surprised him. “Sir?”
“Could I trouble you to rescue the minister? The man’s a blithering idiot but it takes far too long to break in a new one.”
“Sir, yes sir.”
“Oh, and Lyle?”
“Sir?”
“Do try not to be eaten.”
