A/N: For P100 prompt 710: Christmas Baking. Maybe a bit of a side-swipe.
I was suspicious when I’d been ushered into the Minister’s office on arrival and greeted far too warmly by the Minister himself. My concerns that the Minister was up to something were confirmed by the presence of two individuals waiting for my arrival. Good grief, the idiot couldn’t be planning another joint public/private venture after the Burton debacle, could he?
Although, listening to their spiel, I soon realised the Minster’s plan was much worse as he sought to exploit the ARC’s popularity, while the thought of my ragtag team attempting to bake on live Christmas TV filled me with horror.
