“They say people have seen odd lights here.” The boy leaned forward, the flash-light illuminating his face. “That an odd tap-tap-tap is heard by the victims before screams sound.”
A clang had all present jumping. “What was that?”
“It's him.” The boy continued. “It is this very night, at midnight, that the victims all vanished. Nothing left of them but trails of blood and scratches on the floor.”
“I'm scared,” The youngest whimpered.
“Get home then,” the storyteller said.
The youngest sniffed before flinching as strange lights flickered from upstairs and all heard the tap-tap-tap of something coming for them.
