Lester allowed his thoughts to wander, musing about how they'd played with fire over the last few weeks. He tensed when arms wrapped around his waist, before remembering where he was and leaning back into Lyle's arms, smiling when his lover nuzzled his ear.
“Penny for them?”
Lester turned and kissed him. “I was thinking about our 'adventures'.”
“Everything worked out in the end.”
Lester snorted. “You haven’t got to deal with Cutter, Hart and Quinn all clamouring for attention.”
“No, but I’ve got both Becker and Ryan as my COs now."
“Would you have it any different?”
“Fuck no!”
