Introducing myself
Hiya! I am Luna Moody, and I am a beginning knitter. I have been knitting almost 2 years now (veeeeerrrrrryy slowly, admittedly.) and have very few knitters in my (real) life. So... I came looking for more. I have finally progressed to knitting something with a pattern to follow (other that a washcloth shawl: knit 2 yarn over, knit to the end of the row.) and I am feeling terribly proud of myself. I do have one question for you more experienced knitters though. All of the yarns I have used before have been cheap acrylics or cotton or some such. This time the yarn is 75% acrylic and 25% wool. Can I/ should I block it? "It" being the very basic cabled scarf I am trying (so far so good, Yay!) to knit.
