book read:
the graveyard book, neil gaiman: i really don't know what to say about this book. i liked it quite a bit, maybe not quite as much as coraline. it had some gaiman tics that i am not a fan of. it's always weird to me when a something wins awards or gets tons of recognition for something not heads and shoulders better than their other work; this book reminds me of scorcese winning his oscar for the departed, or pujols and A-Rod winning MVP awards in seasons not quite as good as he'd had previously. read with the giver, and remind yourself of the newberry's glory days.
i am having a no tv period, so expect more updates.
that's the first place seattle mariners
