 book read:
Not Quite What I Was Expecting: smith magazine's 6 word autogiography project.   all flow from the legendary hemingway short story: "For sale. Baby shoes.  Never Worn."    read with amy hempel, or lydia davis, to show that the short story can follow so many different forms.

by the way, i don't actually think shelfari is snooty. i was kidding about all that stuff.

do you happen to know the name of an author of short stories who visited seattle and was reviewed in the stranger the week i visited (last full week of march)? the title of the collection possibly included the words "girl" and "fur". Any information, including but not limited to a name, actual title, or a recommendation would be most appreciated.
