Guh. I feel like the only thing good in my day so far is the Obama Reggaeton song from Amigos De Obama, which I heard on the Frow Show podcast. I love Jesse's picks, but I have to manually download the mp3s (oh, boohoo, boohoo, Knile is reduced to the year 2005) because of some wonkiness I have yet to figure out. Now, just because I'm enjoying the song which I barely understand does not necessarily mean I endorse Obama? I honestly haven't sat down yet and figured out which way I'm leaning. It's fine because I couldn't vote in primaries -- at age 18 I was quite the capital-L Libertarian. These days, I'm not exactly a Ron Paul supporter.

Want to feel like you've made a tiny difference? E-mail your Representative to vote "yes" on S. 2478 - To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 59 Colby Corner in East Hampstead, New Hampshire, as the `Captain Jonathan D. Grassbaugh Post Office'. My sources in Washington tell me that there likely will be discussion, but not debate. Still. (For backstory, if you don't remember/know, read my post from last April about Jon's death.

My body has felt crappy for the past couple days. I'm tempted to blame groorg1 and/or slinky_samurai, but I'm pretty sure it's a combination of factors, many all within me. Blah. So I'm attempting something like a fast today. It was going to be a tea fast, wherein I only consumed ginger tea and herbal anti-cold/pro-breathing stuff, but then I wanted ginger ale. This actually turned into a small fun game for myself. The bursar's office only had Sierra Mist, so I went to the Corner Ctore. But I only had $1 on me in cash, so I needed to use my debit card. And to feel less silly, I bought a few things of ginger ale plus some much-needed hot sauce for the Ling library/kitchen. "Enjoy your sauce," said the somewhat-ambiguously-gendered individual behind the counter.
