Plastic fantastic lover
I set my TV to show closed captions when I hit mute. I often do this because my sound craps out regardless (ah, second-hand A/V equipment, how wonky you are).
Just now, I did not hit mute, and the captions automagically started appearing. The sound is still playing. I don't know what to make of this.
