Well, im feeling terrible.
I went to bed friday evening after work and didnt fully wake up until sunday morning. I felt terrible, i had an earache, feverish symptoms and was overly fatigued. I am not one to get sick easily, so normaly i dont go to the doctor or anything. But i wasnt going to go to work tonight and needed a doctor's note. So when my mother got home from church, she took me to the doctor and i sure am glad i went. The doctor said it wasnt my ear at all, it was a severe case of strep throat (even tho my throat didnt hurt) on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst case hes ever seen, he said mine was about an 8. The strep test came back negative and they decided to take blood and run some more tests. anyone who knows me well, knows that i have a great fear of blood, :(. The blood tests came back negative for mono and such, so i got a pennicilin shot in my "hip" (a nice term for rear-end) and got a prescription for an antibiotic and a very strong pain killer. I am being treated for severe strep throat, and if im not well by thursday, they will do further tests. Hopefully it is not too serious... i have never had issues like this.
my last day of work is saturday, but i probably wont be able to go in this week anyway... i just hope im better by the time i need t go to winthrop or im screwed.
