Well, he didn't disappoint. Even though he seemed to be suffering from the flu, he was still amazing. I think I might actually give the album another go. But then, I've always thought that his live stuff was so much better than his albums.
Bumped into Edwina there who confirmed for me that Charlton hadn't in fact disappeared off the face of the earth.
The only annoying thing- the venue. I used to love it so but now there's no chance of sitting downstairs (unless you purchase a meal). Had to sit upstairs, which isn't usually that bad, but now they've put a whole bunch of chairs up there that make veiwing almost impossible! I had to deal with this, and people standing up in various view obstucting angles so that they could film the event, after having my bag rifled through by the door bitch! Since when are they allowed to stick their hands in your bag?!
