So the job hunt went ok ... so I've applied for a few jobs, some of which completely different to what I'm doing now. Well, all still a customer related role so I can never escape from them. Parcel Force being one of them.
However, Monday I had an interview with HSBC for their call centre. I got the job. They phoned me literally an hour after the interview ... talk about fast.
It's back in Swansea, and I can live with my mum. The big down side is the massive, and I mean massive pay cut (we're talking 4k here). Ok so there's the bonus scheme (yeah, call centre's as normal!). But the hours are better than what I'm doing now. In fact, they emailed me a copy of the contract and they have detailed the hours. 8am is the earliest start and 10pm is the latest and the two aren't on the same day or week and only 3 weekend days in six weeks ...
So, I'm now trying to get my head round what do I do. Do I take it, or do I see what comes up...
That and there's a meeting with my Area Manager on the 18th March. Can I hold HSBC till then so I have an idea what I'll be doing?
