Concerts...
The Moody Blues put on a great show. I want to see more classic prog rock groups. ELP, it's your turn.
We were second row at that show, by the way. And I went with my parents. And people their age have no right to complain about how people my age behave in public. I'm used to dealing with drunk, high, and otherwise unruly metalheads. Wealthy, middle-aged Moody Blues fans are apparently all assholes. Look, lady, that particular shirt doesn't have concert dates on the back. Yes, the other one does. No, they don't have any with that front and the other's back.
When I made it to the counter, I asked for two specific shirts in exact sizes. I swear the girl selling stuff fought the urge to jump the counter and hug me.
Alice Cooper this month. After that, I'm looking for shows. I want to do one a month, but after Alice I have nothing until Nile in November. Which happens to be the same night as a Black Lable Society, Clutch, Children of Bodom show. Bands I'd like to see, but, fuck you, it's NILE.
And, speaking of concerts, I'm holding out hope that the death of Dio made room for a new Sabbath reunion.
