No, sorry, that's the most bizarre interpretation of that story there will be. Tim Burton's version will probably be good, and the originality will be there, but there's a gift for surrealism he doesn't have. If Salvador Dali saw Alice, he probably just said, "What the fuck was that?" Maybe it killed him. If you're the kind of person who gets offended by stop action, then fine, it's not for you. It's not even especially good stop motion. But it is creative. And fucking bizarre.
Terry Gilliam fans won't be disappointed. Inspired, sure, but not disappointed.
