Where Has The Time Gone...
I realize I havent been doing a tremendous amount of posting. In a world where MySpace took over followed by Facebook, I failed LiveJournal. So, let's do a little bit of updating...
Today is 04.Jul.2009. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!! This is my all-time favorite holiday. Chrismas being my favorite holiday season. I guess it comes from being part of a military family.
When I last left off, I was on my way to Florida. It was my first time to Florida, my first time at Disney, my first "family" vacation and my first time seeing the ocean. The only thing that would have been the "exclamation point" would have been if the shuttle launch scheduled the morning we left wouldnt have been delayed. Ah well... I am going to move mountains to ensure that I am down there for a launch before the shuttle is retired.
Now... With what has consumed me for a few months... In 13 days, on 17.Jul.2009, I will become a homeowner. I will be a proud resident of Indian Village! The excitement and nerves, along with the fear, are all there. I can not wait!!! And, true to form, I have every day scheduled and planned with what needs to be done and whatnot.
Brandon and I survived our 1 year anniversary. There may have been bumps in the road, but we are smoothing the path out and enjoying the ride now! I have never loved like this, with anyone. And its not just him. I have two "step daughters" now. :c) I feel like I am finally where I have always wanted to be!
I believe that is all for now. Tonight are the fireworks, and as tradition, I will be on top of the IPFW parking garage. :c)
