Knighthorse Leather is starting to get some decent traffic. This is really fun. And I've already made my first sale! I want to do more of these shops for my wire wrap jewelry and other stuff. The bath products might go on one as well. If you like the stuff, please pass the word :)
We got back from San Antonio yesterday. Over all, it was a great trip. There were a couple blah parts though. The heat was almost unbearable. On Saturday, we thought that heatstroke was imminent. I had trouble sleeping almost every night. Just kept waking up all throughout the night. The great parts still outshine the blah. The swimming pool was great. The kids loved it. It's not to often that you find a hotel that still has an 8ft deep pool. Awesome! The food on the Riverwalk was really good, as usual. It's rare that we get a bad meal there (except at Rio Rio). Casa Rio on the other hand is fantastic. And Joe's Crab Shack is always a family favorite for us. There was an art festival going on for the Independance Day celebrations along parts of the Riverwalk. I love to see what other people do with their art. The Market Square was also a fun place to do some shopping. They had bands playing, motorcycles and tequila shots. What more do you need?
Scheduling this summer out has proven to be tricky. There are so many demands on our time that it has been difficult to fit in everything that we want to do. We are out of town or doing shows often. So, it seems we miss out on other things like friends parties or other events we want to attend. The last two weekends we've been in Houston and then San Antonio. This coming weekend we are likely to be going to Lake Conroe to my sister's lake house. And the Monday after, we are taking the kids to Mexico. It's actually cheaper to go there than to visit a resort here in the states for a fewer amount of days. Which would you do?
I am podering the idea of giving in to the Dark Side and getting a Facebook account. Resistance seems to be futile.
