On the run...
We got back from San Antonio on Tuesday and spent the rest of the day unpacking, washing clothes detailing my car (it was a mess inside) and tending to the garden.
Yesterday was all about recuperation... and cruise preparation. I got to sleep in till 10. I so needed that. Julie washed more laundry and cleaned up the kitchen and then we spent much time packing for the cruise (and finishing the unpacking from San Antonio). Then Julie's parents came over. We all sat and talked for awhile. I went out to grill burgers for a rather late lunch (3:30). We ate and talked more and then Julie's parents went home. The rest of the day was spent on more packing, playing with the kids, watching a little TV and cruising the MLS for houses currently on the market. There are some really good homes on the market right now. And some really good prices too. Many, many short sells. I don't think we will have any trouble finding what we are looking for when it comes time to do this.
Today, Julie's parents will be watching the kids while I go into town to run a long list of errands. I've got to get my hair cut, shop for last minute clothes, shop for groceries and then go to Home Depot to pick up 2 new handles for the toilets in the master bathroom. In less than a year, they have both broken.
Tomorrow. Last minute organizing, finish cleaning up house, work on my computer, fix toilets, return emails concerning PolyBigFun food prep and whatever else crops up between now and then :)
