Is that what they are called? Thank you! My friend said that her book described the "shower" that Holmes and Watson have in their bathroom in the Granada series perfectly, but the writer simply called it a shower and we could find no further references of such a thing anywhere.

I think I'd call the one in Granada a canopy bath, as it has the curved section and built in spray section. The standalone showers I used are what I'd call a needle douche or needle bath.
