Other fandoms are scary and psychotic, friends.
As much as I hate loving other things, I do. BUT these things are very frightening in fandom form. VERY. I'm beginning to realize how relatively normal H/L fandom is, how small and unobtrusive and friendly. Because, OMFG, Twilight fandom is like ... one short hop away from psycho ten year old writers gone horribly, horribly wrong land.
Actually, subtract the 'one short hop away' - it hopped straight into psycho ten year old writer land long, long ago.
I want to cower and hide from the scariness of it all. I shall console myself by the knowledge that my talented and not-too-terribly psychotic H/L friends are not 1) ten, or 2) writing very wrong things (except Ivy and her twincest, but no one can pretend they don't love it, so it doesn't matter).
So thank you, my fandom friends, for not being psychotic. Except the ones that are. It's a good kind of psychosis anyway. :-)
