[The sight's not an odd one, really. True, it might be winter, but that doesn't seem to have stopped Rinoa from dragging Squall out on a date. Where they're going? Well, that's anyone's guess, but it might well be somewhere warmer.]

[No, Rinoa had no intention of going somewhere warm. For this date, she had something else planned, something that she thought Squall may not entirely mind, and so, her hand holding his, she began leading him in the direction of the woods. Shooting Star was strapped to her arm, and she had made sure Squall had grabbed Lionheart, though she was sure he would have probably done that anyway.]

[Squall's confused, but he'll yield to her direction. He knows there no need to ask.]

[She doesn't go in too far, but far enough so there's some space, and then she turns to him with a smile.]

I've decided we're going to do something different from the usual today. Something I was thinking might be more up your alley.

What are we trying?

Simple. I want you to teach me how to fight better. I mean, magic is nice and all, but I really want to learn not to depend on it so much. So, today is going to be a training date.

[knighted_lion]

I'm not sure I'm the greatest teacher.

[knighted_lion]

Yeah.

[lastsorceress]

Well, good. Shall we get started then?

[knighted_lion]

[There's a nod, and Squall swings Lionheart around into position.]

Whenever you're ready.

[lastsorceress]

[She nodded, getting Shooting Star ready.]

I think I'm as ready as I can be.

[In all honesty, she wasn't sure if she could do this, but she would try her best. Hopefully Squall would go easy on her.]

[knighted_lion]

[Squall nods, and brings Lionheart up into a defensive position. He'll let her go first.]

[Well, here goes nothing. She shoots off the disc from Shooting Star, and though it's on target, she still finds herself getting thrown back from the force slightly as it releases, and then thrown back again when it returns. This had always seemed to be a constant problem for her.]

[knighted_lion]

[Squall simply brings Lionheart up to block. He'll save off on the attacking right now.]

[She nods and tries again, trying to plant her feet in a way so she won't be thrown back, and utterly failing again.]

[knighted_lion]

[Again, he simply blocks. There's a nod to himself this time, once could have simply been a fluke, but not twice.]
