Clearing the Air
Let me clear up something about myself and my X. Okay, we first got married so she could live off campus. See the school wouldn't let her live off campus with a male unless she was married to him. So in order to do so, we had a "friend's" (friend in the sense of Benedict Arnold) father sign the paper for us to get married. This was in January of 2001. Things started to seem wrong as soon as the following month. This was because she was chasing another guy. She says she just had a crush on the fellow. Now, we also had an open marriage. This was because she was ONE very much a free spirit, TWO because she said that she wanted to have sex with more than just one man in her life. Three is because she didn't want to put a stop to my friendship, (with someone that's become a better friend once we got all this straightened up), with an old friend. Now this old friend led to me making mistakes and we did have sex together. Jess knew this and said she didn't mind. Even when I told her I wanted her to be there to help put an end to all this, she said no and left me alone to deal with a situation that wasn't any good for my friend or myself. (But again, my friend and I have worked out a lot of problems and become better friends. I don't see him hardly any more, but I hope he's well.)
Anyway, during the summer, things seemed to get a lot better. However, she didn't talk as much as she used to and wasn't around nearly as much. Seemed she'd rather live a life online than in person. Trying to talk with her was getting more difficult.
